David Ammer is principal trumpet of the Michigan Opera Theater Orchestra, performing regularly at the historic downtown Detroit Opera House. A graduate of Swarthmore College and Yale University, Mr. Ammer also performs periodically with other top regional symphonic ensembles, such as the Detroit Symphony, Flint Symphony, and Toledo Symphony, as well as with area chamber ensembles, including the Detroit Chamber Winds and Strings, Motor City Brass Quintet, and Today's Brass Quintet. Mr. Ammer has performed as a soloist at over 500 wedding ceremonies.
