Robert Edwards has been playing drums since he was 8 years old , first learning to read and write music in the public schools in his hometown of Birmingham, MI., and continuing his musical growth and development playing orchestral and marching music through his teens. Robert has been committed to developing his skills and talent as a multi faceted drummer playing all styles of music (jazz, pop, blues, rock, country, fusion, world) in all settings including live performance, studio sessions and internet recording. Musicians that have played with Robert are impressed with his ability to add dynamics to his music, to play "in the groove" with complete confidence and is a total professional in everything related to his playing.

Robert is a career drummer/ percussionist and is available for touring, festivals, local live performances as a drummer with a working band, short notice fill-in for an ailing or missing drummer (Robert is a very quick learner), and recording of drum parts for original music sent over the internet.
